I build software that enables the world I want to see – often at the intersection of technology and the public interest.
What I’m Building Today
- I lead Product and R&D at Consumer Reports Innovation Lab. My teams are advancing data & digital rights through new research and new tools. Permission Slip and Data Rights Protocol are two of the more mature projects in our portfolio.
What I’ve Built
- I was Co-Founder & Executive Director of #MovingForward, a global social movement using policy to create a more diverse, inclusive, and harassment-free venture capital industry (more in The Atlantic, WIRED, CNN, Recode, Pando, Bloomberg, and Institutional Investor).
- I was a tech policy fellow at The Aspen Institute, where I worked on cybersecurity for older adults and utilizing software development techniques in policymaking.
- I worked at Uber as a Software Engineer, where I built the backend for global phone support and self-serve refund algorithims for Uber Eats.
- I marched on Washington for reproductive rights before I could walk, and launched the Eve app, putting critical birth control and sexual health information in the pockets of millions.

Just For Fun
- I spend time on my bike, pedaling around NYC, new states, and occasionally foreign countries.
- I blog on occasion.
- I broke the Guinness World Record for world’s longest phone call with a bunch of friends.
- I sold 18,000 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies.
